TERMS OF THE COMPETITION


 

ELIGIBILITY

  • This event is open to all amateur male and female golfers that meet the TCGA Membership requirements.
  • Golf professionals local to the Triple Cities region are permitted to play as well, limit one professional per team as long as the professional meets TCGA Membership requirements.
  • TCGA Region includes the counties of Broome, Chenango, Tioga, Delaware, Susquehanna (PA) and Bradford (PA).

 

FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST

The field is limited to the first 60 players to apply. After the field limit is reached, players will be placed on a wait list in order by their time of registration.

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Entry Fee: $70. This includes all green fees, cart fees, and prize pool. Host course members should discuss any entry fee reimbursements with host course.
  • Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (5PM EST on Wednesday May 28, 2025). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $10 service fee, will be refunded if a player withdraws prior to the close of registrations. No refund will be awarded after the registration deadline.

 

FORMAT & DIVISIONS

The format is 18 holes of individual stroke play, played from the blue tees. There will be only one division; however, female golfers may play from the red tees and men age 70+ may play from the white tees.

 

PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS

This is a counting event for the Remlik’s Player of the Year as outlined on the Point System and Eligibility page.

 

RULES

All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The TCGA and/or the host course golf professional will be available to provide rulings and answer questions.

TEE TIMES AND PAIRINGS

The pairings will be available on Thursday, May 29th and will be emailed to all players. Tee Times begin at 11:00AM, if you have a tee time request (early vs late), please reach out to tcgagolf@gmail.com. Pairing requests will not be accommodated for individual stroke play events.

  

GHIN POSTING

Scores will automatically be posted to each participant's USGA/GHIN Handicap at approximately 11:00 PM following the completion of the tournament round.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

The club's snack bar will be open - accepts cash or credit.

 

GOLF CARTS

The golf cart rental fee is included in the entry fee.

 

CADDIES

The use of a caddie is permitted, although groups are STRICTLY limited to 2 carts total and each player is entitled to one seat before a caddie may ride in an open seat. For example, a threesome where two players bring caddies cannot take a 3rd golf cart, they must work out which caddie will ride in the open seat, caddies may alternate riding as well.

 

RANGE

There is no range at the golf course, and use of range is not included with entry. Participants are encouraged to utilize Polar Shot Driving Range, which is located adjacent to the course.

  

PRIZES

Cash payouts will be awarded to approximately 20% of the field.

 

SKINS

There will be an $10 per person optional skins game, payable by cash in the pro shop prior to play.
